You And I

“You and I” is a compilation album by Jeff Buckley, released on 11 March 2016, under Legacy Recordings. The album comprises recordings from February 1993, representing some of Buckley’s earliest works for Columbia. These sessions, curated by A&R representative Steve Berkowitz to serve as a comprehensive introduction to Buckley’s artistry, were publicly released for the first time in 2016. Included are two original compositions by Buckley: an early demo of “Grace,” later featured on his debut album of the same name, and “Dream of You and I.” Additional tracks are notable covers from various artists such as Bob Dylan and The Smiths. The album debuted at No. 58 on the Billboard 200, achieving No. 5 on the Top Rock Albums and No. 1 on the Folk Albums charts in its initial week of release, with 9,000 copies sold.
