Reign In Blood

Released on 20 October 1986, Reign in Blood remains one of the most seismic records ever to emerge from the thrash metal underground. Clocking in at less than half an hour, Slayer’s third album distilled everything the band had been building towards into ten relentless tracks, creating a record whose influence continues to reverberate through heavy music decades later.

Produced by Rick Rubin, the album marked a significant turning point for the band. Where earlier releases often felt engulfed in atmosphere and chaos, Reign in Blood sharpened every edge.
