Below are two easy ways to give the gift of discovery.
Buy a Gift Card (Instant Delivery)
If you’re looking for a fast and flexible option, our digital gift cards are the easiest choice.

Buy a Subscription as a Gift
If you’d like to gift an actual subscription rather than a gift card, that’s absolutely fine — it just requires a tiny bit of manual handling on our end.
How it works:
> Purchase a Vinyl Deli subscription as normal
> Use your email at checkout (you are the buyer)
> You’ll receive the confirmation emails as if the subscription is in your name — don’t worry, this is expected
> Email us the following details so we can switch it over to the recipient:
> Recipient’s full name
> Recipient’s email address
> Delivery address
> The date you’d like the gift to begin (e.g. Christmas Day, birthday, etc.)
Once we have those details, we’ll make sure nothing is sent early and the first box arrives at the perfect time.
Want something to hand over in person?
We can create a personalised printed “gift letter” with their name and a welcome message. You can print it, pop it in an envelope or wrap it with a bow.
Buying Early / Giving Later
If you want everything organised in advance, but the gift won’t be opened yet, we can delay dispatch and activate their profile when the time is right.
Just tell us:

We’ll hold everything until then — no surprise emails, no ruined gift.
Frequently Asked Questions
✔ Will the recipient get emails?
Not automatically — as long as you notify us.
Because our system currently assumes the buyer = the subscriber, you’ll receive the account emails. However, when we switch it over, the recipient will also receive the series of welcome emails so they can get started with their subscription.
Just send us the recipient’s details and we’ll handle everything behind the scenes.
✔ Can I have the boxes delivered to me first?
Yes! If you’d prefer to gift the record in person, we can ship to you instead of the recipient.
Just let us know by email after purchase.
✔ What if they don’t love the first record?
We want Vinyl Deli to be joyful, not risky.
If the first pick really isn’t their thing, we’ll arrange a swap from another selection they’ll enjoy.
